The Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers (FICE) has been successful in our efforts to address issues of concern to engineers across the state. We must remain vigilant in our fight to keep current engineering issues in the forefront of legislative attention. Actively supporting pro-engineer candidates is the single most effective tool in this effort.

A committee of FICE, the Consulting Engineers Legislative Council (CELC) was created to provide targeted pro-engineering legislative candidates with special funding to assist in their efforts to run a successful campaign.

CELC funds are generally used by candidates for television and radio campaign advertising, phone banks, and targeted direct mail during the final stages of their race.

As a CELC Member, you are ensuring that elected officials know that they are hearing the voice of Florida’s engineers.
