Florida Professional Engineers Retired (FPER)
The Florida Professional
Engineers Retired or FPER is one of the six practice sections of
the Florida Engineering Society. The FPER represents Retired, Respect
and Life members of the Society. These members make up every discipline
within the Society and are actively promoting the best interest
of the association.
Objectives
- To provide
an affective forum for discussion and united action on matters
of common interest to retired engineers.
- To provide
the highest standard for professional engineers retired.
- To promote
the professional recognition and well being of its members.
- To provide
a means of communication for its members with other engineers.
- To actively
promote retired professional engineers at all levels.
- To encourage
participation by FPER members in public service activities on
community, state and national levels.
Meetings
FPER shall meet annually at the time and place established for the annual conference of FES. Additional meetings may be called by the administrative
committee or by written request of five percent of the members
in good standing stating the purpose of such meeting.
Membership Criteria
Are
you a retired Professional Engineer or thinking of retiring? Consider
membership in the Florida Professional Engineers Retired (FPER).
Membership in FPER consists of members of FES in good standing who
are Retired, Life and Respect Members of FES or Professional Engineers
in other areas of practice but wish to join with FPER to promote
its objectives. In order to join all you need to do is select this
as your practice section of choice.
