MATHCOUNTS Committee
Plan, promote, and administer an annual state-wide mathematics tournament for junior high school students in public and private schools to encourage interest and recognize excellence in mathematics. Disseminate information to chapters to assist them in planning, promoting, and administering chapter tournaments; provide assistance to chapters when requested. Coordinate the chapter, state, and national tournaments. Prepare a budget for consideration by the Budget Committee; establish the financial responsibilities of the state society and the participating chapters.
