Awards Committee
Study and make recommendations to the Board with respect to the establishment of new Society awards and criteria for same, and recommend modifications where needed in criteria for established awards. To consider and evaluate suggestions for awards. To review and recommend annually to the Board the recipients of awards recognized by the Society, such as -- Award for Outstanding Service to the Engineering Profession Award for Distinguished Service to the Florida Engineering Society Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement Young Engineer-of-the-Year Award To prepare the citation for the recipients of all Society awards. To design the certificates, medals, or other awards to be offered by the Society. To review, determine eligibility and recommend annually to the Board candidates for Fellow membership. Prepare and submit for the consideration of the Budget Committee, and the review and approval of the Board of Directors, a plan of activities, programs, and projects that are committee proposes to undertake during the administrative year. The Committee's plan should include a description, time schedule, and budget of anticipated expenses and revenues for each proposed activity, program, and project.
