Continuing Education Requirements for Professional Engineers

Florida Engineering Society (FES) is an exempt approved provider of continuing education through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE).

Licensed Professional Engineers are required to earn eight (8) Professional Development Hours of board-approved continuing education during the biennium cycle of March 1, 2011 through February 28, 2013. These 8 PDH’s must include four (4) hours of Laws & Rules of Chapter 471 and 61G15 F.A.C. and four (4) hours of Areas of Practice.
