4 PDHs of Technical Engineering Credit

 

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is for both the young project manager and the seasoned project manager.  This course will provide the attendee with a clear understanding of the project management principles and processes based on the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).  This course will also give the attendee an opportunity to have a better understanding of the PMP exam and what it entails.  The course is based on the latest edition of PMBOK (Fourth Edition)

 

What you will learn?

You will learn the principles and processes of project management; and how to best utilize the tools that are available in your daily life as a project manager and improve your skills as a multi-tasking project manager.

 

Objective

To give a better understanding of the project manager’s role in the different organizational structures and provide the tools to be a better project manager.

 

Course Format

The course is available in two formats:

1)       Online - once your order is processed you be provided a link to view the course.  Download time will vary based on your computer and internet speed. This course is not suggested for those with dial-up internet or older computers. You may purchase this same course as a DVD by clicking here. 2)       DVD - once your order is processed you will be mailed a DVD.

 

For both formats you will be asked to complete a series of multiple choice questions.  You must score a 70% or higher to receive credit for the course (at least 35 of 50 questions answered correctly).  You may choose to print out your test questions in advance and answer them as you watch the course.  When you are ready to put your test answers in the system, just log back in and the system will ask you one question at a time.

 

Time Needed to Complete the Course

It is estimated that an individual will spend approximately four hours reviewing the video sections in preparation for the test and a half-hour completing the test. Total course time: four and a half hours.

PDH Credit

You will receive 4 PDHs of Technical Engineering Credit for the course by scoring 70% or higher on the test (at least 35 of 50 questions answered correctly).  You do not need to report your credit. Approved course providers are required to report credit to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) within 10 business days of course completion.

 

Proof of Completion

Once you complete the course and have correctly scored 70% or above (at least 35 of 50 questions answered correctly), you will be able to generate and print a certificate of completion for your records.

 

Easy On/Off

If you prefer not to take the course all at one time, you may exit at any time. The program allows you to start again where you left off without losing any of your work. Be sure to remember your FES # and password.

You will be provided with a temporary Customer ID number and notified by e-mail.

Once you have actually registered for an on-line course, you will be assigned a permanent Customer ID number and notified by e-mail.

Please make note of your permanent Customer ID number. Once assigned, your temporary Customer ID number will no longer work. Only your permanent Customer ID number will allow you to download your certificate of completion.
