Who Needs to Attend?
Firms that provide engineering laboratory services and practice geotechnical engineering, including members of the Geotechnical and Materials Engineers Committee (GMEC) who are employed by ACEC-FL member firms.
When the circumstances preventing the registrant’s, attendance are such as to be beyond his control, requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing from the participant before 5:00 p.m. at least 10 business days prior to the event. The cancellation fee is $50. No refunds will be issued for cancellations submitted less than 10 business days prior to the event. Substitutions are permitted at any time. However, if non-members replace members, a full registration fee will be charged. The difference in fees will be charged at the registration desk prior to participation in the event.
We have secured special group rate at The Shores Resort & Spa for $159.00 per night and a discounted resort fee of $20.00 per night. Each reservation includes complimentary self-parking, wireless internet, two bottles of water, use of fitness center and DVD library, daily newspaper, complimentary local and toll free phone calls and a smores kit.
Upon completing event registration a confirmation email will be sent with a private link for this event.
Reservations must be made on or before, Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Please note that this year’s event begins Wednesday, April 15th at 6:30 p.m. with our Welcome Social, and concludes Friday, April 17th at 12:15 p.m. following our last educational session.
The GMEC Award recognizes outstanding personal efforts on the part of its recipient to advance the technical and professional practice of geotechnical engineering firms in Florida for a minimum of ten (10) years.
